For some members of our congregation, who are home bound or just can’t get out as they used to, some days are a time of loneliness and isolation. A card, a phone call or a visit can make a big difference to someone who is feeling a “little down” or missing family and friends who live far away.

 

If we all make a point of reaching, not only will we brighten the day of someone else, but our day too! Call, send a card, or visit someone you know who could use an extra hug. We, at First United Methodist Church, are a caring congregation and we can manage to find time to do one more thing to make a day happier for someone in our church family.
